have you ever just sat back and looked at life
and realise that everybody's moving on in theirs
pretty quickly, actually
do you remember that girl who lost her grandfather a while back?
look at her now
do you remember that boy who broke up with his girlfriend and felt like he was gonna die?
look at him now
everyone is moving on
they are healing
they are learning
they are growing
each, and every day
and sometimes i feel this little tugging at the hem of my heart
what happened to him, or her, or them?
what happened to us?
we've been so busy moving on
good or bad,
we've learnt.
we're past them
but will our paths ever cross again?
that,
i wonder
too.
