Mistaken

The thing about me is that I always do all these things for people and it goes unnoticed.
It's not that I want people to lavish me with praise or feel indebted towards me, but sometimes - just sometimes, I wish my efforts were recognised at the very least.

But of course, nothing goes my way (what's new, right?) and I get misunderstood incessantly.
Honestly, I've always thought that I was strong-willed and heavily-opinionated -
But at times like these, I guess, I'm just a pushover who cared too much.
